Ayoconnect
(Background)
Enables merchants to collect payments via shareable links
Ayoconnect enables businesses to manage and accept payments through a unified platform. Many merchants needed a simple, flexible way to charge customers remotely, especially for invoices sent via email or chat.
To address this, we introduced Payment Link:
a feature allowing merchants to generate a custom payment link and send it directly to their customers.
I was responsible for:
Owned the customer and merchant payment experience end to end
Defined payment flows, system states, and method constraints
Delivered hi-fidelity designs and partnered closely with product and engineering through implementation
(challanges)
Merchants faced friction when requesting payments outside of their own checkout flows.
(Discover)
Quickly identify proven payment patterns to design a reliable Payment Link experience under tight timelines.

(OUTCOME)
Merchants can now request payments remotely with minimal effort
Customers experience a clear, trusted payment journey
The system supports both immediate and authorization-based payments
Feature was delivered within a tight timeline without sacrificing clarity
(Conclusion)
This project reinforced the importance of:
Reusing proven payment patterns
Designing explicit system feedback in financial products
Aligning early with product stakeholders when timelines are tight
Speed matters, but clarity matters more in payments.
