(Background)
Building scalable "Mystery Box" system that will run automated
Learning from Ichiban Kuji (itemX live session of unpacking collectibles items) who was able to obtain a GMV of 30%++ where 150 - 600 items were sold per session, the itemX team saw the potential of this concept and wanted to implement this concept in the ItemX Marketplace.
(challanges)
The project is on high priority, so there are some challenges to overcome :



(Competitive Analysis)
We analyzed several indirect competitors to ensure the features and requirements were in line with user needs & aims to define the ideal design and content of the Virtual Gacha/Mystery box.

After reviewing and comparing the features of each competitor, we have formulated our recommendations:


(Wireframe)
I created a wireframe based on feature functionality and capabilities, collaborating with the Project Manager to align with requirements & UX Researcher to implement recommendations based on the Competitive Analysis we had previously done.

(DESIGN)
Delivery immersiveness of unpacking collectible items experiences
The requirement is to provide an immersive experience when users purchase and open the Mystery Box/Pack.
To convey this, I designed it by providing elements that are usually found in games such as dark themes, light, & shape patterns.
